Horace Long

Mr. Horace Ray Long, age 70, of Bladenboro, died June 24, 2009. He was a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lee and Hazel Clare Memory Long, and a brother, John Lee Long, Jr. He is survived by his wife Eunice Ann Callahan Long of the home; two daughters, Felisa Long Williams and husband Richard of Bladenboro and Amy Long Cummings and husband Samuel of Pembroke; six brothers, Currie Long, Marshall Long, Jimmy Long, Ralph Long, Donald Long and Stanley Long; two sisters, Janice Lewis and Becky Blackburn; one aunt, Lorraine Harris; and two grandchildren, Lucas Allan Williams and Phoebe Rose Williams.



The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Beck officiating. Burial will follow at the Long Cemetery.
