Iris Stephens

Mrs. Iris G. Powers Stephens, 80, of Elizabethtown entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. She was born in Columbus County on March 17, 1930 to the late Alex and Mattie Smith Goins.



The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Stephens at 1600 Winding Creek Rd. Elizabethtown.



A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 26, at 11:00 am at Old Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kincey Barrow and Dr. Earl Farthing officiating.



Mrs. Stephens is survived by two daughters, Kim Bordeaux and husband, Shelton of Harrells, Tomye Su DeVane and husband Pat of Elizabethtown; one sister Maxine Jordan of Whiteville; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
