James Bell

James Otis Bell, age 74 of Bladenboro, died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Fannie Cole Bell, a daughter DiAnna Bell McHugh and his two brothers Elden,Garvin, and three sisters Christine, Flonnie and Marie . He is survived by his wife Pat Hyatt Bell of the home; two sons, Danny and Timothy Bell of Virginia; a daughter, Patricia Williams of Texas; two stepdaughters, Angela Godfrey of Bladenboro and Edna Moore of Virginia; one brother Don Bell and four sisters Ollie, Vera, Joyce, Glenna Sue, one granddaughter: Harmonie,five step-granddaughters: Ariel, Shayla, Sirena, Davan, and Mairi, one step grandson: Charles and countless nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be conducted on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at New Light Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Dale Hester. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens.
