James Grimes

James Russell Grimes, 83, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Mr. Grimes was preceded in death by his wife Annie Laurie Gooden Grimes, and two children, Jim Grimes and Susan Vess. He is survived by one daughter, Becky Grimes of Elizabethtown and one grandchild, Doug Grimes and wife Melissa of Charlotte, NC.
A private burial in a family cemetery will take place Thursday, July 17, 2015. The family will receive friends from 1:00- 1:45 pm Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Elizabethtown Baptist Church followed by a Memorial service at 2 pm with Rev. Chris Carroll officiating.
