James William Krull, father, brother, and friend, passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 59 in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. Born on June 6, 1965, in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, James lived a life marked by dedication to his family and his country.
James honorably and faithfully served in the United States Marine Corps, embodying the values of duty, integrity, and commitment that he carried with him throughout his life. His military service was a source of pride for him and his loved ones.
He is survived by his son, Shawn Krull, and daughter, Jennifer Krull, both of North Carolina. James also leaves behind his brother, Robert A. Krull of Pennsylvania, and two sisters, Shirley Dunlap and her husband Don, and Jenny Yourko, also of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several grandchildren and will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Joseph Krull Jr. and Alice Uncapher, his wife Sheila Krull, and his sister, Francine Olbeter.
The legacy of James William Krull will be remembered through the lives of those he touched, providing them with unwavering love and guidance. His presence will be profoundly missed but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A Celebration of James' Life will be held at Centerview Baptist Church, located on Piney Grove Road in Jacksonville. Time and date for the service will be announced.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
