James Singletary

Mr. James \\"Bud\\" Colon Singletary, Jr., 82 of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest Monday, March 2, 2009.



He was born on September 13, 1926, to James Colon and Beatrice Bobbit Singletary; he is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nannie Lee Johnson.



Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Sandy Grove Baptist Church at 2:00pm. The funeral will follow at 3:00pm with the Rev. Jerry Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Singletary is survived by his wife, Mildred Penfield Singletary of the home; one daughter, Gayle Johnson and husband Andrew of Clinton; two sisters, Gertrude Singletary of Bladenboro and Beatrice Savage of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
