Janie Owen

Janie Elaine Mitchell Owen, age 71, of Lake Waccamaw passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013. She was a resident at Premier Living and Rehab Center at Lake Waccamaw.
Janie was born in Bladen County on August 10, 1941 to the late Haywood and Vera Young Mitchell.
She is survived by one brother, Earlon Ray Mitchell of Council; three sisters, Martha Jane Bright, Ludie Graham both of Lake Waccamaw and Judy Lane Bass of Roseboro, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church at 3:00 pm with Rev. Mike Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
