Jaxson Carson Porter

Two month old Jaxson Carson Porter of Tar Heel went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

He was such a cheerful little guy who loved to smile and loved to watch his cartoons. He was loved by not only his parents and Gigi but also by their entire work family at Hardees. His loving little smile and bright eyes always brought sunshine to all.  Although Jaxson's time here was brief, the impact he had on those who adored him dearly will last forever. 

Left to cherish his beautiful memory are his parents, Isaiah English and Halei Porter, his beloved Gigi, Tammy Prevatte, Uncle Landon Cosgave, Aunt Summer Collins, and Paternal step grandfather, Theron Johnson; maternal grandfather, Tony Porter and maternal grandmother, Amanda Deese. 

A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 3 pm at the Tar Heel Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverend Thomas Tedder officiating.
