Jerry Hester

Jerry Kenneth Hester Sr., age 80, of Bladenboro died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Brunswick Cove Living Center in Wilmington. Mr. Hester is preceded in death by his parents, George Hester and Fanny Shaw Hester; brothers, Michael Hester and R.D. \\"Robert\\" Hester; and a sister, Maxine Benton.



He is survived by two sons, George Steven Hester of Kansas and Jerry Kenneth Hester, Jr.; two daughters, Patsy Louise Hampton of Bladenboro and Lisa Jane Hester of Franklinville, NC; two brothers, Edwin Hester of Bladenboro and Ashley Hester of Shallotte; one sister, Lydia Joanette White of Clarkton; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.



The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Warren Hill at Lewis Cemetery.
