Jimmy Callihan

James "Jimmy" Callihan Jr., 79, of Elizabethtown passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Louise Callihan Sr., one brother Andrew Alex Callihan and one son Mark Christopher Callihan. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory his wife Wilma Callihan of the home, one son: James T. Callihan of Myrtle Beach; two step-sons: Alan W. Bell and wife Marisa of Zanesville, OH; and Scott A. Bell and wife Mary of Elizabethtown; one sister Florence Suggs and husband Buddy of Bladenboro; two granddaughters: Carrington Lynn Callihan and Alyssa Ashley Bell.

Jimmy was a friendly man who loved his family and enjoyed socializing with others. He was a natural salesperson and a great communicator. Jimmy always put great thought into his words before speaking. He will be missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29th at 3 pm at Dublin First Baptist Church in Dublin officiated by Rev. Cameron McGill. Burial will follow the services in the Allen Cemetery in Dublin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Dublin First Baptist Building Fund.
