Jimmy Edwards

Jimmy Edwards, 73, of Bladenboro passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Davis Edwards and his two sons, Chris "Bulldog" Edwards and Jared Miles Eldred Edwards. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Edwards Hamilton and husband Jonas of Bladenboro and Joanna Edwards Parker and husband Keith of Bladenboro; brothers, Reverend Freddie Edwards and wife Rosalie of Bladenboro; sisters, Hilda Bordeaux of Elizabethtown, Margaret Bryan, Wilma Storms, Sylvia Batten, and Elizabeth Packer and husband Kent all of Bladenboro; and four grandchildren, Jeremy Mills, Justin and Kaylin Edwards and Jared Parker and one great-grandchild, Chloe Cox; and a daughter-in-law, Sandra "Sandi" Edwards-Whitley and husband Bryant of Bladenboro; and a loving friend and companion, Norma Bullock.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Original Freewill Baptist Church in Bladenboro, NC. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Oak Grove Original Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Ward; Rev. Freddie Edwards, Rev. Larry Greenwood and Rev. Elvin Mears officiating. Burial will follow at Bryant-Edwards Cemetery in Bladenboro, NC.
