Joann Turner

Joann B. Turner age 66 of Bladenboro died Saturday, September 1, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Burris and Nellie Callihan Blackmon; and a brother, Jessie Blackmon.



She is survived by her husband, Charles Turner of the home; a son, Chris Turner and wife Kelly of Bladenboro; four daughters, Kim Turner of Bladenboro, Terri and Kristie Turner of the home, and Sharlene Turner of Fayetteville; two brothers, Kennie Blackmon of Chadbourn and Donald Blackmon of Wilmington; two sisters, Dorothy Faircloth of Wilmington and Rosie Smith of Bladenboro; four granddaughters and one grandson; and a very special little girl, Brooklyn Powers.



The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Dale Hester at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sandhills Cemetery.
