Jonathan Glen Rose

Jonathan Glen Rose, also known as "JR", 39, of Bladenboro passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 11, 2025.

JR leaves behind his parents, Christopher Rose and Frances Hensley Rose of Elizabethtown, beloved wife, Kayla Welsh Rose of the home, four children Jeigthen Glen Rose of Hampton, VA, Gabrielle Diane Rose of Hampton, VA, Abbagail Marie Rose of the home, and Diane Nicole Kory Rose of the home, and three brothers, Adam Glen Rose (Audrey) of Elizabethtown, Anthony Glen Rose of Bladenboro, and Danny Major Rose of Louisiana. 

JR was always the prankster of the family and often kept everyone in laughter. When not playing jokes, one could find him watching his favorite NASCAR drivers, Kyle Bush and Dylan Hart Sr.  or his favorite football team, the Ravens. He enjoyed taking family trips to the beach to fish and go crabbing. Time spent together always came with much love and joy. He will be missed for his whimsical attributes and his infectious laugh. 

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
