Joseph Jackson

Joseph Jackson, 73 of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 6, 2009.



Mr. Jackson was retired from the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton Hugh and Anna Watts Jackson, a brother and a sister.



The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00pm.



Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 3:00pm at New Center Baptist Church with Rev. George Langley and Rev Barry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Cemetery.



Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife; Shelby

\\"Dolly\\" Jackson of the home, two sons, Joe A. Jackson and wife Beebee of Bladenboro; Rick L. Jackson and wife Pamela of Bladenboro; four daughters, Amanda Gail Jackson of Bladenboro; Sheryle West and husband Arnold of Lumberton; Janice Wolfe and husband Tony of Austin Tx.; and Donna Jean Jackson of Shallotte; two brothers, Larry and Alton; five sisters, Betty, Stella, Dorothy, Mary, and Peggy all of Missouri; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
