Joseph Thompson

Joseph "Junior" Alton Thompson, Jr.,77, of Bladenboro, NC, entered into eternal rest on

January 28, 2010.



The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home from 1:30 until 2:30 PM.



The service will be Sunday, January 31, at 2:30 PM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home, with Rev. Darin Andrews officiating. Burial will follow after the services at Old Field Cemetery.



He is predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alton Thompson, Dr. and Jetta Edwards Thomspon; and three brothers: William, Shadwell, and Wade Thompson.



He is survived by his wife, Millie Thompson; a son, Gary Thompson of Bladenboro; a daughter, Johnna Thompson of Taylorville; two brothers, James Thompson of Clinton, Iowa, and Vernon Thompson of Bladenboro; one sister, Betty Priest of Bladenboro; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
