Joyce Bryan

Joyce Kinlaw Bryan, age 80, of Broadway, formerly of Bladenboro, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Duke University Hospital. She was born in Bladenboro, NC, daughter of the late Alma Pait Kinlaw and Gurthie Kinlaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Joyce was retired from Bladen County Government, serving as administrative assistant to the county manager at the time of her retirement. She loved crafts, especially cross-stitch, cooking for her family, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Carlton Bryan, her son Carl Bryan and wife Wendy of Broadway, NC, and grandchildren Pait Bryan and fiancé Rachel Daniels of Memphis, TN, and Carrie Ellen Bryan of Broadway, NC.

The funeral will be a private graveside ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Shriners.
