Juanita Hester

Juanita Bledsoe Hester, 86, of Bladenboro, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton.



Born December 27, 1919 in Bladen County, she was the daughter of Manley and Alma Bledsoe.



Mrs. Hester is predeceased by her parents, Manley and Alma Bledsoe; her husband, Horace Cade Hester; and brothers, Alton Bledsoe, June Bledsoe, and Danny Ray Bledsoe.



Mrs. Hester is survived by her sons, Alexander Hester and Ronnie Hester, both of Bladenboro; daughter, Sylvia Horton of Bladenboro; sister, Geraldine Butler of Dublin; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great grandchild.



The visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2006 at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Community Baptist Church with Rev. G. Thorton Hall, Rev. Earl Hester, and Rev. Robert Oldman officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Baptist Church Cemetery.
