Karen Jordan-Hair

Karen Mylynda Jordan-Hair of Bladenboro passed away Friday, August 12, 2016. She was born on January 31, 1969 in Lumberton, N.C. Karen spent her early life in Bladenboro, moving to Elizabethtown where she was a homemaker and raised her two children. She moved back to Bladenboro four years ago before her grand-son was born. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, and mother.

Karen is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Harry Lane and Edna Lou Walter. She is survived by her mother Gloria Walter-Tatum, father Grady C. Tatum and wife, husband David Brent Hair of Holden Beach, daughter Tabitha Paige Hair of Bladenboro, son Dustin Brent Hair of Holden Beach, grandson Jaydin Brent Lee Jordan of Bladenboro, brother WM. Buster Jordan and wife Laralee, two sisters: Leighanne Smith and husband Chris and Katie Tatum and husband Brett Connor, and several nieces and nephews: Summer, Buster B, Justin, Ben, Ashton, Alyssa, and James.

Karen tried to be a friend to everyone and was loved by many. She will be missed. The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A private service will be held Monday, August 15, 2016. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Buster Jordan, 400 Ash St., Bladenboro, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to A Shelter Friend, P.O.
