Katie Lambert

Katie Rose Edwards Lambert, 81, of Bladenboro passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017. She is survived by her husband Willis James Lambert Jr. of the home, two sons: Lacy James Edwards of the home and Delbert Edwards of Lumberton, one daughter-in-law Debbie Edwards, one sister Annie Nance of Bladenboro three grandchildren: James Edwards, Kayse Edwards, and Derek Edwards, one great grandchild, Tyler Rowland, and a special furry friend Gizmo "Gizzy".

Katie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. Each one had a special place in her heart. She also loved her little dog Gizmo.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown officiated by Rev. Kip Nance. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
