Kenneth Beard

Kenneth Wayne Beard, 46, of Elizabethtown passed away Monday, August 1, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his father Jerry M. Beard, stepfather Russell Ashworth, grandparents: Madison and Margaret Beard, Eugene and Della Thompson, great grandparents Joel and Frances Elkins and a special aunt Brenda Crosby McKibben.
Survivors include his mother Nancy Beard Ashworth of Hilton Head Island, SC; brothers Jeff Beard (Linda) of the home, Jerry "Michael" Beard (Toni) of Hilton Head Island, SC; Christopher "Chris" Ashworth (April) of Lumberton, NC; two sisters: Kathy Marie Sanders (Michael) and Veronica Beard Britt (Fabian) all of Lumberton, NC; Uncle Scotty Beard (June) of Elizabethtown, NC; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend Andy Laha (Carly) of Pittsboro, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11 am at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Andrews and Rev. Chris Denny officiating.
