Larry Garner

Larry Thomas Garner, 68, of Bladenboro passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011. He was born on August 13, 1943 in Bladen County to the late Edward Thomas and Margaret Carroll Garner.



He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Carolyn Garner and Lyndra Dove; one son, Ricky Carroll and one granddaughter, Courtney Russ.



He is survived by his wife, Polly C. Garner of the home; two sons, Lloyd Guyton of Bladenboro and Stewart Carroll and wife Kim of Tar Heel; one daughter, Paula Russ and husband, Johnny of Bladenboro and daughter-in-law, Deanna Carroll of Elizabethtown; one brothers, Randy Garner and wife, Sandra of Tar Heel and one sister, Betty Jo Barnes and husband, Ray of Tar Heel; six grandchildren, Cory Russ, Christan Carroll, Nathan Carroll and Trinity Carroll, Paige Guyton and T. J. Guyton and five great grandchildren, Skyler Guyton, Dillon Russ, Jailynn Russ, Jacie Russ and Jayla Russ.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:30 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



The funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Center Road Baptist Church at 3:00 pm with Rev. Vernon Britt, Rev. David Rutland, Rev. Dave Pyatte and special speaker, David Masters officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery in Dublin.
