Larry James Britt, 68, Navy Veteran of Bladenboro passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert James and Emma Britt and his wife Katie Hilburn Britt. Mr. Britt is survived by his son Michael Britt and wife Lynn of Bladenboro, a sister, Barbara Gooden and husband Bobby of Bladenboro, two grandchildren, Tristan Britt and Brandon Williams, and his loving companion of 21 years, Nancy Conner of Lumberton.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, April 4, 2014 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Bladenboro at 11:00 am with Rev. Jimmy Strole officiating. Burial will follow the services in Shady Grove Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Southeastern Hospice House for their efforts during this difficult time.
