Larue Todd

Larue Davis Todd, 87, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary Davis, her husband Furney Todd, son Robert Meares, infant sister Barbara Davis, sister Clara Thompson, and three brothers: Terue Davis, Dewey Davis and Byron Davis. Survivors include two sons: Ronald Meares of Whiteville and Rev. Elvin Meares and wife Kathy of Bladenboro; brother Paul Davis of Bladenboro; sister Mamie Seals and husband Billy of Bladenboro; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at Oak Grove Original FW Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Rev. James Nobles and Rev. Henry Ward officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
