Lawrence Raynor, Jr.

Lawrence Roscoe Raynor, Jr., 60, of Clarkton, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ruby and McKinley Harrelson, paternal grandparents: Floyd and Mary Eliza Raynor, many aunts and uncles. Lawrence leaves behind his father: Roscoe Raynor; mother: Kitty Raynor; daughter: Berkleigh Pridgen of Elizabethtown; brother: Anthony Raynor and wife Terri of Elizabethtown; sister: Twyla Clarke and husband Darin of Fredericksburg, VA; three nieces: Kayleigh Raynor, Nicole Clarke, Sydney Clarke and one nephew: McKinley Raynor.

Lawrence was a quiet man but quite a person. He always kept himself well and was very health conscience. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting deer and bowhunting. Lawrence was a son that every parent would be proud of and a great father to his daughter, Berkleigh. He loved all sports especially girls fast pitch softball. He was a coach helping with Dixie Youth League and midget football league. Lastly, he loved his job which gave him the satisfaction of helping people.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Monday, June 3rd at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4th at 4pm at Dublin First Baptist Church with Rev. Cameron McGill, Rev. Warren Hill, Rev. Tommy Knight, Rev. Jason Lee and Rev. Steven Harrelson officiating service. Burial will follow service in the Raynor Cemetery.

At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of the deceased at 6313 Hwy 701 South, Clarkton, NC.
