Layton Clewis

Layton Clewis, age 87 of Bladenboro, died Monday, March 2, 2015 at home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Ada Clewis; an infant son, Arthur Clewis; one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Roselie Clewis of the home; three sons, Greg Clewis and wife Susan of Charlotte, Dale Clewis, and David Clewis and wife Amy; a brother, Vernon Clewis of High Point; a sister, Ola Marlow of Bethel; four grandchildren, Amy, Wil, Ethan, and Riley; and one great grandchild, Damen.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Holiness Church. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jerry Smith and Rev. Larry Singletary. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery.
