Lee Roy Bryant

Lee Roy Bryant, 81, of Clarkton, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Bryant and Mattie Dowless Bryant; brothers: Earl Bryant, Morris Bryant and sister, Pearline Sykes.

Lee leaves behind his wife, Brenda R. Bryant of the home; sons: Roy Bryant of Clarkton and Edmond Bryant (Caressa) of Virginia; daughters: Jessica Bryant of St. Pauls, Mickey Wood (Henry) of White Oak; brother, Dennis Bryant of Dublin; sisters: Lucille Reynolds of Dublin, Juanita Nobles of Chadbourn, Rosa Lee Jernigan, Maxine Carpenter of Rocky Mount; eight grandchildren: Ryleigh Bryant, Layklee Bryant, Colton Bryant, John Claros, Ashley Reyes, Leo Reyes, Dale Wood, Steven Wood; five great-grandchildren: Kynzlee Wood, Hunter Wood, Camryn, Tanner and Bryson Wood.

Lee was a compassionate man who adored his family. Some of his hobbies included: hunting, fishing, working in his yard and garden. He loved to watch Westerns and a good football game. His tender spirit will be greatly missed.  

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45am on Tuesday, August 15th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.  A graveside service will follow at 11am at Bladen Memorial Gardens with Reverend Lacy Norris officiating service.
