Leroy Thompson

Leroy Thompson, 77, of Clarkton passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016. He is survived by his wife Glenys Thompson, four sons: William Thompson and wife Kimberly of Elizabethtown, NC; Kenneth Thompson and wife Kathy of Manning, SC; John D. Thompson and wife Sally Kay of Lumberton, NC; and Steven Thompson of Columbia, SC; three stepdaughters: Patti Yandle, Vickie Billups and husband Barry Billups, Jackie Bedsole and husband Steve, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm on Saturday, December 17 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 1 pm with Rev. Warren Hill officiating. There will be a private burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472 or Boys & Girls Home from Kiwanis of Elizabethtown.
