Linda Faye Davis Britt

Linda Faye Davis Britt, 76, of Clarkton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, while at Liberty Commons Nursing Center in Whiteville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Carlton Davis and Emma Lee Russ Davis, husband Joseph Maurice Britt, and sisters, Wanda Jane Haigler and Madie Davis Bullard.

Linda was known for always having things in place; everything from her home to the hair on her head. She always took pride in everything she did. Her passions included shopping, trips to the nail salon, the mountains in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and spending time with her family. The greatest joy in her life was her grandson, Landon. He was her heart alongside her beloved husband and daughter. Linda will be dearly missed for her deep compassion for not only her family but for her neighbors, especially the elderly and sick. Her willingness to give and love with all that she had will live on in the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

Left to cherish those memories are her daughter Melinda Batten and husband Jeffrey of Clarkton, son Bradley Smith of Clarkton, grandson Landon Batten, and two nieces Gail Prevatte Francis and Cindy Prevatte Cranford and husband John.

A graveside service is planned for Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 2 pm in the Singletary Cemetery on Old Boardman Road in Bladenboro with the Reverend Kevin Kinlaw officiating.
