Linda Mccarty

Linda Miriam McCarty,63, of Bladenboro passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Southeatern Regional Medical Center.



She was born on January 8, 1948 to the late Eugene and Elizabeth Johnson Walp. Mrs. McCarty is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Christine Garris Walp.



The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Dublin Baptist Church with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating. Burial will follow in Bladen Memorial Gardens.



Mrs. McCarty is survived by her son, Michael McCarty of Maryland; three daughters, Michele McCarty of Maryland; Kathy McCarty and Kimberly McCarty of Bladenboro; five brothers, Mel Erhardt of Utah; Eugene, Gary, Brian and Mark Walp all of Maryland; a sister, Sharon Miller of Maryland and seven grandchildren.
