Lois Shipman

Mrs. Lois Othella Shipman 85 of Elizabethtown, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October, 11, 2010.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Kevin Carpenter.



The family will receive friends at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 6:00 until 8:00pm.



Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 2:00pm at Colly Chapel Church

with Rev. Jim Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow in Colly Chapel Church Cemetery

Mrs. Lois is survived by her, husband Paul Shipman of the home; Four daughters, Gloria Strickland of Greenville, SC; Betty S. Barrow of Elizabethtown; Janice Shipman of Goldsboro; Paulette Erwin of Willow Springs; three brothers, James Hammond of Hendersonville; Edward Hammond of Durham; Mickey Maybin of Hendersonville; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
