Lonnie Sessoms

Bladenboro Lonnie Ashwood L.A. Sessoms, 80, died Friday, April 7, 2006 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.



He served as a deacon at Galeed Baptist Church for many years.



Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, at Galeed Baptist Church, Bladenboro with the Rev. Bruce E. Cannon officiating.



He is survived by his wife, Jewel Barr Sessoms; a son, Douglas Sessoms; daughters, Gail Carroll, Peggy Hester, Janice Strickland, Doris Mote, and Elaine Sessoms; brothers, Floyd Sessoms and Curtis Sessoms; 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
