Lorrienne Rose

Mrs. Lorrienne Willis Rose, age 84 of Tar Heel, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012

She was born on January 20, 1928, to the late Dexter O. and Marie Munch Willis. Mrs. Rose was the owner and operator of Roses Day Nursery for 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband John Rose, her daughter, Joyce Rose Hamilton, a great grandchild, Renee Brown.



The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Dr. Mack Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.





Mrs. Rose is survived by her daughter, Johnna Anderson and husband Jesse of Tar Heel; her grandchildren; Marie Smith and husband J. L.; Marinda Underwood and husband Mike; Joy Sternthal and husband Brian, Hannah Anderson and Holly Grant; her great grandchildren; Justin Moore; Brianna Moore; Jessi Moore; Jose Smith; Adam Smith; Jackson Sternthal; Bobbie Lynn Simpson and husband Barry; and a great great grandchild, Robert Brown; and a very special niece Susan Sparkman.
