Louis Dicicco

Louis Angelo DiCicco, Jr., age 84 of Bladenboro was born December 27, 1930 and died April 6, 2015 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Angelo DiCicco, Sr. and Rose DiCicco; his wife, Gertie Lee Watts DiCicco; an infant child; three sons, Paul, Jeffrey, and Michael DiCicco; and three sisters, Marie DiCicco, Lena Ponzo and Janice McCall. He retired from the US Army.

He is survived by two sons, Louis DiCicco, III and wife Loretta, and James Walter DiCicco, all of Bladenboro; three sisters, Emma Francioni, Rudi Donato, and Teresa Connolly and husband John, all of Massachusetts, a daughter-in-law, Cynthia DiCicco; 9 grandchildren, Brian DiCicco and wife Lindsey, Amy D. Lambert and husband Ashley, Paula D. Melton and husband Kenneth, Jonathan DiCicco, David DiCicco, Robert Dicicco, Andrew DiCicco, Avanleigh DiCicco and Kenzy Hester; 13 great grandchildren, Hunter, Colby, Abigail, Elijah, Taylor, Jesse, Jacob, Nathan, Sarah, Kenley, Kailynn, Cole, and Wyatt; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be conducted on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at New Light Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Dale Hester and Rev. Bobby Smith. Burial will follow at Cashwell Cemetery.
