Lucille Bishop Baum



Lucille Bishop Baum, of Whiteville, North Carolina, and formerly of Savannah, Georgia, widow of Bartola Baum, died Sunday, February 4, 2007. Mrs. Baum was the daughter of the late L. B. and Bessie Bishop. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star of Savannah. Mrs. Baum was a member of Faith Primitive Baptist Church of Savannah. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Baum was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Baum Brown. Surviving are three grandchildren, Elizabeth \\"Libby\\" Payne of Clarkton, North Carolina, Paul Brown of Germantown, North Carolina, and Suzanne Hopkins of Dunn, North Carolina, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2 o\\'clock Thursday afternoon at the graveside, Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
