Luis Francisco Ventura, age 11, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at Duke Hospital. Luis was a student at Elizabethtown Middle School.
He is survived by his parents, Luis Miranda and Maria Ventura; his paternal grandmother, Margarita Miranda, and his maternal grandparents, Guillermo and Catalina Ventura of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Odalys Miranda-Ventura, Vanessa Miranda-Ventura and Abigail Miranda-Ventura.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 4:00 pm at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Elizabethtown. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens.
