Luvinia Dent

Luvinia "Lukie" Coleman Dent, 83, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kelly and Martha Coleman; her husband, Buddy Dent; two brothers, Lambert and Sambo Coleman; and one sister, Esther Guyton. She is survived by her son, Billy Dent and wife Karen of Bladenboro; daughter, Gail Dent Hester and husband Tony of Bladenboro; five grandchildren, Tesla Strickland of Bladenboro, Tony Hester Jr. and wife Leighanna of Williamston, Kip Hester and wife Tiffany of Clarkton, Skyler Dent of Raleigh, and Mandy Cameron of Bladenboro; nine great-grandchildren, Lee and Ray Roberts, Jadea and Jaden Strickland, Braylon Nance, Kiley and Nicholas Hester, and Sawyer and Leah Hester; and a special caretaker, Betty Tyler.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro, NC on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Anthony Hardin officiating.
