Margaret Singletary

Margaret Taylor Singletary, 91, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Bladen County on February 9, 1924 to the late Burry and Cora Pait Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winton Howard Singletary, a son, Lin Singletary, four brothers, C. J., Dewey, Graham and Dempsey Taylor, one sister, Evelyn Pait.

Mrs. Margaret is survived by two daughters, Henrietta Moore of Roxboro, NC and Sheila Cowan of Sarasota, FL.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Center Road Baptist Church. The funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm at the church with Rev. Dewayne Lambeth officiating. Burial will follow at New Pait Cemetery in Bladenboro.
