Marietta Johnson

Marietta Quinn Davis Johnson, 74, of Jacksonville, entered into eternal rest January 21,2010 at her home.



The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 23, 2010, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.



Services will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2010, at 2:30 PM at Briar Branch Baptist Church, with Rev. Claybourn Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.



She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Johnson; and two sons, Robert H. and Thomas L. Johnson.



She is survived by her daughters: Sue Phoebus of Jacksonville, and Jennie Rains of Morehead City; four brothers, Buster Davis of Elizabethtown, Albert Davis of Bolton, NC, Bizzle Davis of Elizabethtown, and Chester Davis of Harrells, NC; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
