Martha Baker

Mrs. Martha McLaurin Baker, 60, of White Lake passed away on Sunday night, February 12, 2012.



She was born April 11, 1951 in Fayetteville, NC to the late Ausby and Kathryne McLaurin. A former teacher, she retired with 28 years of service to the public schools of Cumberland County.



She is survived by her husband Warren Baker of the home; three sons, Ray Sheppard of White Lake, Ryan Sheppard of Fayetteville and Tommy Baker and his wife, Jessica Baker of Hartsville, SC., one brother, Arthur McLaurin, and one sister, Shirley Cooper, both of Eastover. She was the proud grandparent of Caden and Brooks.



Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown on Tuesday, February 14, 2012.



A private grave side service will be held at the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Eastover, NC at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 with the Rev. Cameron McGill officiating.
