Mary Parker

Mary Lillie Smith Parker, age 78 of Garland, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Ashe Gardens Memory Care. She was predeceased by her father, Henry B. Smith; mother, Ruby Maxwell Smith; four brothers, Dan, Laverne, Lacy, and Charlie Smith. She is survived by a son, Jerry Thomas Parker of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Felicia Blakesmith of Garland; one brother, Kenneth Smith of White Oak; four sisters, Eldridge Hudson of New Bern, Brenda Hales of Roseboro, Peggy Little of Siler City and Effie K. Smith of Southport; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Wade, officiated by Rev. Barry Helms.
