Maxine Farah

Maxine Gasses Farah, age 74 of Clarkton, died Friday, April 10, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mary Flayhan Gasses; husband, Fred Farah; 3 sisters, Georgia, Shirley, Rita and 2 brothers Victor and Tommy. She is survived by a son, Greg Farah of the home; a daughter, Sheila Thompson and husband Travis of Clarkton; 2 brothers, Raymond Gasses and wife Marlene and Jesse Gasses and wife Virginia, all of McDonough, GA; 2 sisters, Vickie Farah and husband Tommy and Sarah Hill, all of McDonough, GA; and 2 grandchildren, Kayla and Brandon Thompson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. The service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel officiated by Padre Leon. Burial will follow in Bladen Memorial Gardens.
