Michael Lewis Foss

Michael Lewis Foss, 73, of Elizabethtown passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 11, 1952, the son of the late Walter Foss and Dorothy Kelly Foss.

Michael was the loving husband of Karrine Tedder Foss of the home, proud father to daughter Megan Skipper (Michael) of Elizabethtown and stepson Brian Brisson of Dublin, and doting grandpa to granddaughter, Paisley Skipper. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Yvonne Smith.

Michael was a devoted family man with a friendly disposition. His heartstring was his granddaughter Paisley, and he dearly enjoyed spending time visiting with her as well as all her animals. He was seen most mornings making his daily stop at Hardees for breakfast, checking the mail and chatting with the locals. He enjoyed a good cold glass of sweet, iced tea, watching the Big Bang Theory, and hanging out with his fur pal, Rascal. Michael was known for his collections of all sorts usually from attending a local auction or two. His endearing love for his family and community will not soon be forgotten.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 6th at 12:30 pm at the Tar Heel Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverend Thomas Tedder officiating.
