Millard Storms Sr.

Millard Storms Sr., 76, of Bladenboro passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. He was born in Bladen County on November 16, 1948, one of nine children to the late Conley Elijah Storms and Annie Martha Pait Storms.

Millard Sr. graduated with the Bladenboro High School Class of 1968. He was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. After his service to his country, he then continued to serve his community by joining the White Lake Police Department where he not only served as an officer for about ten years but also as the White Lake Chief of Police. Millard later settled in his hometown of Bladenboro to be near his mother.

Millard was preceded in death by two brothers, James McCray and Jimmie Storms. He leaves behind one son, Dr. Millard Storms, Jr. (Joanna) of Niceville, FL, two grandchildren Mia and Rocky, and six siblings, Doris “Dot” Oliver of Lumberton, Hilda Lanier of Clarkton, Barbara Hungerford (Charles) of Bladenboro, Sedford Storms of Lumberton, Willard Storms (Faye) of Bladenboro, and Billy Storms (Pat) of Bladenboro.
