Myers Hickman

Myers Broughton Hickman, 79, of Supply, NC passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at State Employees Credit Union Hospice House in Bolivia, NC. Mr. Hickman was a veteran of the US Air Force. Myers served forty-six (46) years as Driver's License Examiner, testing most of the people of Bladen, Robeson and Columbus County. He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Hickman, his father, Sam Hickman, brother, Clyde Hickman and one sister, Judith Merritt.

Myers is survived by his mother, Versie Hickman of Bladenboro; one daughter, Sandra Franklin and husband Paul of Supply; niece, Susan Hickman Pleasant of Wilmington and one sister, Sue Siler of Bladenboro; granddaughter, Michelle Jessee; grandson; Phillip Hernandez and a great grandson Orion Booher.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Clifton Kinlaw Officiating.
