Myrtle Baxley

Myrtle Lee Baxley age 78 of Bladenboro, died on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at West Bladen Assisted Living. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruby Hughes McLean; her husband, Northorpe James \\"N.J.\\" Baxley; a son, Henry Lee Baxley; two brothers, Robert and Barden McLean; and two nieces, Sarah Yarborough and Angie Love.



She is survived by a son, Michael Baxley of Bladenboro; a daughter, Connie Wiggins and husband Curry of Clarkton; five brothers, Henry Clyde McLean and wife Pearl, Mitchell McLean, Wilton McLean and wife Wanda, Eugene McLean and wife Mary Ann, Horace McLean and wife Linda, all of Bladenboro; five sisters, Vivian West and husband Roy, Marie Horton, Esther Hood and husband Bruce, Normie Outlaw, Stella Spell, all of Bladenboro; a sister-in-law, Carolyn McLean of Bladenboro; four grandchildren, two step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.



The family will receive friends on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Smith and Rev. Boyd Britt officiating. Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery in Butters.



In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Research for Alzheimers or West Bladen Assisted Living in Bladenboro.
