Myrtle Jean "Jeannie" Squires

Jeannie worked hard and well but boasted of nothing but her Jesus. She laughed loudly but kept a tender heart. Her courage was miraculous.



She is survived by her husband, Stephen; sons, Tim and Robert with their families; brothers, J.D., John and David with their families; sisters, Polly, Nancy, Jonnie and Cathy with their families; and her brothers and sisters in Christ. In her final days here, her grandsons, Brandon and Parker were her best medicine.

The funeral will be held at Centerville Baptist Church, Kelly, N.C., 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2006 with Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories, Kelly, N.C. Following the interment the family will visit with friends at the church.
