Onlee Tatum

Onlee Smith Tatum, 74, of Elizabethtown passed away Monday, October 24, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Ruth Smith, three brothers: Eddis Smith, Forris Smith and Russell (R.C.) Smith and one sister Doris Smith. Onlee is survived by her five children: Lisa Turner of Nebraska, Denise Murray and husband Terry of Kenly; Donna Shores of Roxboro; Allan Tatum and fiancé Kelly Lanier of Elizabethtown; and Mary Cortes and husband Eric of Richlands; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four sisters: Maxine Cashwell of Elizabethtown; Margie Matthews of Hope Mills; Audrey Smith of Cypress Creek; and Idella Powell of Harrells; and former husband Charles Howard Tatum.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 27th at 11:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church in Garland followed by a burial in the church cemetery. Services will be officiated by Rev. Neill Smith and Rev. Gary McMillan
