Paul Britt

Paul Jones Britt, 75, of Elizabethtown, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 29, 2009.



He was born in Bladen County on May 7, 1933 to Roy and Ila Johnson Britt.



He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Roy Alexander Britt.



Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pinecrest Cemetery with Dr. Bob Bailey and Rev. D.L. Page officiating. The family will receive friends after the graveside service.



In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elizabethtown Baptist Church Mission Fund, 1800 West Broad St. Elizabethtown, NC 28337

Mr. Britt is survived by his wife, Carolyn Britt of the home; one son, Dr. John Britt and wife Jennifer of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Paulette B. Slawson and husband Michael of Atlanta, Ga. and Bonnie B. Boone and husband Dock of Jackson, NC; two brothers, James Roy Britt of Bladenboro and Harry Britt and wife Joyce of Dover, Delaware; one sister, Sue Britt Rainey of Darlington, SC; 8 grandchildren.
