Paul Smith

Paul Grier Smith, age 66 of White Oak, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Lawton Smith and Thelma Pauline Sessoms Smith; sister, Faye Smith, and brothers, Ed Smith, Carl Smith and Charles Smith.

He survived by his son, Robert Lawton Smith of Tampa, FL; daughter, Paula Genelle Espinoza and husband Carlos of Wilmington and two daughters of the heart, Brittany Rose Langdon of Jacksonville and Mary Beth English of White Oak; brother, Clyde Smith and wife Teresa of Stedman; sisters, Nita Baker of Ammon, Jean Horne of White Oak, Sylvia Smith of Benson, Wanda Ray and husband Cecil of White Oak, Donna Naylor of White Oak, Hazel Smith of Clayton, Betty Holder and husband Bill of Cary, Judy Strickland of Fayetteville, Debbie Langdon and husband Greg of Fuquay Varina, and Helen Huggins and husband Thomas of SC; Three grandchildren, Lawton Smith, Elena Espinoza and Wyatt Smith.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:30 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Suggs Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Bradley Tatum and Rev. David Rutland officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
