Pauline Smith Butler

Pauline Smith Butler, 86, of Elizabethtown passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. Pauline was born on August 24, 1938 to the late Rueben and Etta Britt Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.V. Butler, Jr.; son, Richard Wayne Butler; grandson, Kyle Butler; siblings: Myrtle Wilson, Ruby Britt, Lois Morris, Margaret Hester, Rebecca Willis and Lonnie Smith.

Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Natalie Butler; son, Andy Butler and wife Deanna; grandchildren: Justin Butler, Tabitha Dowless and husband Daniel; great-grandchildren: Jason Dowless, Ryan Dowless and Alyssa Dowless.

A funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Bethel Baptist Church in Dublin. A visitation with friends and family will be held from 1 pm until 2:30 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service in the Allen Cemetery on Bethel Church Road in Dublin.
